It has been a long time since I’ve posted. Life brings you ups and downs and I’ve had a long summer. I haven’t done much of anything and here is why.
On June 2nd, my Babci (grandmother) had a stroke and was hospitalized. The stroke was on the left side, which affected her right side, speech and ability to swallow. Babci wasn’t just my grandmother, she was my 2nd mom. She moved in with us when I was 16yrs old and my dad died. Words can’t describe how I feel for her. Well, on June 14th, she passed. It was the hardest 13 days I have ever had to deal with. I’ve haven’t felt very creative.
It is now time to get myself up and motivated. I hope you have all had a wonderful summer and I look forward to creating some beautiful designs.
Thanks,
Maria

I am so excited. From now until April, all funds raised will go towards putting together a fishing charter for children with special needs. Please help anyway you can. We have items starting at $6.00. Bookmarks make a great teachers gift. Help support the exciting adventure.

Happy New Year!
I can’t believe another year has quickly passed us by. I am so excited about the new year and can’t wait to see what it has to hold for Links for Love. I’m so excited to let you all know that Links for Love raised over $1200.00 to help our children. We support a few organizations and checks have been mailed. Thank you all for purchasing from us. I know to some that amount doesn’t seem like much, but it is for such a small company like us. I feel that this year we will be able to triplet that amount. Links for Love gives between 30-50% of the profits to organizations that help fund programs to support, teach and help our children grow. Thank you again and please don’t hesitate to let Links for Love know if we can help you raise money too.
Happy New Year.

My first “funny thing” comes from a wonderful mom I met on Twitter. Lonestar818 – from Cuddlebug. Thank you for sharing.
“Did you know that I can fly? But I can only fly down.”
Here is my second post. This one comes from another fantastic person I met on Twitter. ArtNowForAutism . Thank you for sharing.
I asked my son with autism how his first day of kindergarten was. He said, “I used all my patience.” I was wondering if he said it or teacher did.
